I found a cache of some curious looking egg type things in a potted plant's soil nearby the garden. Anyone know what a cuke beetle egg looks like?

Eggs are oval, orange-yellow in color, and are found in clusters of 25-50 on undersides of leaves

Hate to disagree but Cucumber Beetles lay eggs in the soil and the larvae then eat the roots of the plant. Then emerge later in the season.

Here is an excellent website detailing the life of a cuke beetle.

What I found are like pods of clear/yellowish round liquid filled things (2" under the soil)?? Is that as clear as mud?

Earthworms as an invasive species. Sad but true.
