If cuke beetles or other bugs are found near young seedlings, is there any danger in spraying with Talstar or lambda? I've never needed to spray young seedlings, but wonder if they could be damaged at such an early stage. I've certainly used both chemicals beginning in June.

I'd prefer Merit but the lowest rate possible at night (not morning) should be OK. Concentrate your efforts on the sorrounding area instead especially focusing on unkept weeds, brush & other pest harborage areas.

I have also used seven dust used very lightly. I have not used seven recently since I now use Admire and drench the seedlings a few days before putting them outside.
