Just found out my county will be spraying Bacillus thuringiensis (Bt) to kill gypsy moths... spraying from aircraft at a rate of .5 gallon per acre. What affects will that have on an AG patch? I presume it will kill other feeding caterpillars too, which would be fine by me. But, any other affects I should know about?

Frank,

Bt is nothing more than a bacterium. No harm will come to the plants.

And, with some luck, maybe it kills SVBs!

O.K. Thanks guys. I'll consider it a bonus to my pesticide program this year... :)
