Is it possible to mix insecticide and disease control in the same sprayer? Say if I use Thiodan for bug control and Daconil for disease, can I mix them in the same sprayer? Would this be effective?

I did that once in 02, and ended my season, it killed my plants, i used at the time diazinon, and daconil. If you use 1 sprayer i would triple rinse the sprayer before switching chemicals. Rog

Shouldn't be a problem..just test the mixture first to be sure they're compatilble..using a small jar and lite mixture of what you want to combine...be sure they don't set up like concrete of fizz like a bomb...Less is more when it comes to application....use less do it more often...watch the plants theyll let ya know. Tank mixing most modern low dose perticides is usually OK but always read both labels first. Daconil can be hot all by itself. Diazinon EC was probably also one of the hotter insecticides especially in warm weather.

Stuff like Eagle & Talstar mix well. Most Strobis are so low-dose the pose no challenge in tank mixes.

Thiodan & Daconil wouldn't be my first choice on young plants but once they have hardened off a bit might be OK on a cool early evening. but it must be dry by morning or an irrigation cycle the next morning would be needed. Always be extra careful in humid weather regradless of the combination.

Heed the advice and warnings above!
I too have ruined 80% of my plants by mixing hot combos.
