on my 250 Shnicker seedling the 1st true leaf is turning a whitish color and is at a stand still since planting outside a few weeks ago. The whitish is just around the outter edges of the entire 1ST true leaf and looks like its progressing. It all most looks like PM and looks like it could be wiped off with your finger but it doesnt. I have never had a soil test in this area but this patch area is about 10 feet away from 3 Pine trees and has full sun most of the day.Do you think the pines might have something to do with the soil its growing in?

When did it start Brooks? It could be mild frost damage from the other night.

duff

Topsfield, Ma.

I've got the exact scenario happening here Brooks, seemingly stalled growth and one of two plants has that white margin around the outer edge of one of the first true leaves. Not getting alarmed yet. I think the plants are concentrating on sending out a huge volume of roots to support those 1k lber's...vines and leaves to follow...LOL!
Godd luck, Duff
