Hey Billy

Absolutely & every time. Pay strict attention to the rate advisory especially in warm weather (today ;o). Sometimes less is more & this is one of those times.

For fungicides I prefer to see an organosilicone surfactant like Helen'a Silwet 77. These keep the spray wetter longer causing the fungicide to actually penetrate the leaf cuticle before drying.

Common 90/10 Non-ionic "spredaer stickers" are still better than using nothing. While they do contain drying agents they also make water "wetter" so the residues maks better contact with the leaf surface.

Whether it's the use of Molasses with a compost tea or a methylated seed oil used with a herbicide, all surfactants make our all of our spray residues perform better regardless what they are.
