When should I spray talstarOne to head off vinebore moth in Southern Vermont? I haven't seen any cuke beetles here, but I didn't have a big problem with them last yr. Vine bore now that's a different story.I need to control them this year.Anybody seen them yet?I do have a systemic down,2 doses.

Here in CT we're getting very close to ground zero. I like to start SVB sprays right before July 1st. VT is likely a week later than here.

I used Talstar One about 3 days ago and I am planning another dose around the 4th of July. You will get em a day or 2 before they make it up to my yard, so I would appreciate it if you could knock as many of them down as possible.

Push them over to Wilbur's patch, I am sure he would like them. LOL Hope your plants are doing well. John

I can mail you a few cuke beetles if you would like, seeing a fresh batch every few days. Last year I saw the first SVB about the end of June, plan on starting to spray next week. I've had to spray today for cuke beetles so my plants are covered for an early SVB infestation.

No bugs for me thank you!!!I sprayed today.I've got something going on with the 1031 Story, some of the leaf edges wilt and dry up but the leaves that are affected are still growing.Hope it's not a serious problem, this plant is growing very fast, main is 10'.1130 Lyons no problems. And your 487 wilbur is the slowest, but she's coming along nicely.

I'm going, to spray just.... just as soon as this water front moves, on into the Northeast. They need the water so badly. :)
