What seems to be a better way of applying Sevn? In liquid concentrated form via a sprayer and water or dusting?

I think liquid works better with the addition of a spreader/sticker. A spray seems to be easier to get on the underside of the leaves, where many insects & eggs hide.

I agree with you kilr liquid sevin is easier to use. I have used liquid bug be gone before it is vertualy the same stuff. It is very affective. I use the dust now but when it runs out I think I will switch to liquid form.

I like dust better It seems to get the underside of the leaves without having to spray each leaf.

What are you all trying to KILL? Bugs, critters?? Small children??? I wouldn't recommend Seven durring pollination as you will take out ALL the bee's...? We don't have Squash vine borers over here in "Gods Country".

If you spray or dust in the late evening when the blooms are closed there is no effect on the bees. I have a hive about a hundred ft from my patch and the honey bees are working double time. In fact Dobber (my neighbor) extracted 4 and a half gallons of honey three days ago from one hive. If used properly sevin is as safe as any insecticide.
