I seem to have leaves near the stump turning brown or yellow near the edges, then getting worse throughout the whole leaf to the point where they become totally dried out and dead (on both of my plants!). I thought it was just some old leaves, but it almost seems to be spreading from leaf to leaf. any thoughts? thanks!

Pete,

Several diseases can cause these symptoms but we need to see the plants. Can you post some pictures?
