I think this is what my plants have for the most part. Has gone from moderate on part of 1 plant to severe on 2 and moderate on the other 2. All in about 2 weeks time. Hits the new leaves very fast and bad, while older leaves very slow and some not at all. Anyway , whats the best waay to slow it down since from reading i believe there is no cure once its gone this far. Any help/sugestions would be nice. keep in mind i'm in hot steamy Tn. Thanks.

Ortho plant, and disease control will work, on the downey mildew on the east coast, but doesn't work on the west coast why i don't know! find it at Lowes, and read the list of diseases it cures. get it on there quick. Rog

thanks Roger, got it, sprayed some this am, will get the rest this evening when it cools back down. Do i need to spray the underside to??? I can reach the top no problem, but only about 50% underneath.

Smoky. Some plants had that 3 years ago. I bought ROSEPRIDE from Lowes. Took care of the problem. I have it in the fungicide rotation now. Kelly

I use Neem Oil. It controlls powdery nicely but you absolutely must follow cool evening or early morning application warnings. I add the baking soda too. That will not hurt your mix at two tablespoons per gallon of product.

Powdery starts, on the underside, of the leaf. After holes are, in the leaf the oil will seep through but getting under there with your spray wand is the only way, to get good underside control.
