My plant has begun to develop yellow spots on the leaves. I posted a pic of this in the gallery. It should be up after they approve it. Just a few at first, but getting rather severe now. Anyone seem this before?

The photo shows the symptom of the problem. More than likely the leaf BOTTOM will hold the answer. Can you post a shot of the bottom? Look for a grayish white powder while you're under there.

If it is mildew, Is there anything i can do about it at this point. I have sprayed with daconil and with an organic fungicide called Serenade aabout three times over the last three weeks. Every time i spray with daconil it seems to go systemic and really mutates my new growth for a bit. Not that i am allowing much at this point, but it scares me about the effect on the pumpkin..

Definately looks like powdery mildew to me.

I'm going way out on a limb here. These leaf bottoms almost look like they have Peach Scale on them.

Are there any fruit trees growing nearby? Ornamental Cherries maybe?

Regardless, JMS Stylet Oil will wipe out both Scales & Powdery Mildew on contact. Get some & spray it under the leaves on a cool day.

The OrthoMax in the red bottle cured it all. Maybe it was mites, thrips, whatever I had them all in the nursery patch,. The OrthoMax did them all in and I didnt see any leaf damage due to heat, but I would still be careful and apply exactly how the label states, wet but not running off. Tops and bottoms.... To be safe do it at night when the temps dip. Good Luck

I ahve sprayed with Neems oil and baking soda, on top and under the leaves. Will the Neems oil work if it is scale? Docgipe says this will work for the powdery mildew.

Of course it cooled down..I sprayed...it rained.. lol. I'll spray again in a couple days, if you all think that the Neems and soda might help. We are starting to get sooooo close to the end. My club weigh off is Oct - 7th. So.. if i can just get three more weeks out of the leaves, it won't really mater oafter that. I hve been told the plant can do a week or so on pretty minimal leaf support. is that true?
