Do it in the heat of the day a very very little at a time. That would be my thoughts.

The 455 has a monster thick main vine...turn it slowly bending the growing part when its still thin. If not, use the first secondary and train it to be a main vine I guess........G

One more thing! If the vine is that big, it's probably sent down tap roots at every leaf node. Be sure to sever these so the vine CAN move! I only move mine a few inches per day. Rather than move that 2" vine, why not train the new growth? (You'll just have a big semi-circle instead of a small one!)

Hey Pappy, Got a problem with the 625 flattening and has to be turned. I see you said you buried the 625 flat vine, How did that work out for you. Mine seemed to be getting rounder and then this cool wave hit and it started to flatten. After you buried the flat vine did you use a secondary or what?

Chuck,The main was the only affected vine. I kept a secondary main just in case but didn't really need it. How long is your flatvine now?

Been real cold out about three feet...more like a soaker hose then round,,looks healthy I thought the new growth in the heat was round now this cold came in and it's flattening again..no signs of it splitting into two vines. Like I said looks healthy just not round!
