Ok i no it is the end of the season but i would like to no how do i prune a pumpkin plant. I see all this growth but i am affraid to put the clippers to sumthing. So can someone please tell me how to do this thanks.

Most common is a christmas tree pattern....the main is allowed to grow secondary vines only...if the secondary starts to grow vines (tertiaries) these are terminated immediately...so the plant should look like a christmas tree pattern...widest near the base going out...many other patterns and pruning ideas though.
