first off, thanks for the heads up. if you have them, it shouldnt be long before we have them up here. next, i would take a real close look at your plant. look at the vines, the leaves, the underside of the leaves, the leaf stalks, the stump, EVERYWHERE....look for the eggs. they are brownish in color and are laid one at a time, not in clusters. pick off any of them you may find. then spray. depending on how you water, and how often it rains, that will determine how often you have to spray. just keep on top of it, and keep checking for eggs.
good luck

I can't give 1% of what scott knows he forgot more then I've ever learned, But would add keep careful eye towards the stump end and watch for any sign of wilt. It may be half way down the vine but go back to the first good leaf and follow the vine to the first bad checking for a split or ooze..pull the Larva out. One of those eggs hatched and is in the vine.

As Farmer Scott said, spray everywhere. Since Isotox is a systemic, rain should not affect it. Just keep up the spraying every 7-10 days and hopefully you'll be ok.

I just saw my 1st moth today, it looks like they're heading North!

I feel for you guys down in the States... I'm sure glad we have no pests like that in Alberta; they probably can't stand the cold winters here. The only thing we might have this year is grasshoppers, but I've seen very few even though there's supposed to be a major infestation in parts of Alberta, counts as high as 300 hoppers per square meter!
