I noticed while at the nursery today that someone left some Bravo, Roundup and Gramoxine out and it had been exposed to below freezing temps. I was wondering how this will affect each product.

Sambo.......they are not biodegradable. With some similar products I thaw them out and toss in a couple, of nuts and shake, to bring them into a usable solution. Most can be reconstituted that way. If not....then trash them properly.

No harm came to the Roundup. Flowable items like the Bravo might not fair so well. After a flowable has frozen it will need to be shaken aggressively. If it is all clumped up it will need to be strained. The active ingredient will still be good but some of the surfactants' integrity might be questionable.

Having spent several years as a licensed pesticide applicator, I can tell you that freezing does indeed affect the integrity of these products. Dry ingredients aren't affected. I wouldn't use any liquid product which has frozen. It may eventually work, but will not be as effective as fresh product.

All my products from pesticides to Agro-K are stored in a heated area.
