I would start looking for bugs above and below ground. Japanies beatle larva will play havick on all roots. If you have some pretty metalic looking beatles you may have them in your soil.Excuse the spelling ahve heard DINNER IS DONE five times now. Good luck Ken

ocrap, you mean your better half still cooks you dinner? mine gave up after i talked about needing to put hot water bottles next to the plants, something about me taking care of the them damn pupmkins more then her, can you believe the nerve! LMAO

It is known as a cucumber beetle
