I have about 10 hives of bees in my bee yard, will merit or grub ex have any i'll effects on my bees?? I'm leaning towards the wettable merit, I guess that's what everyone else is using..thanks!

When drenched as a soil application then bees will be OK. Merit is systemic but doesn't translocate to the flowers. If you SPRAY Merit (or any other insecticide) then you must keep drift down & NEVER spray when flowers are open or the bees will be toast. Foraging bees might never make it back toi the hive but some will & they'll spread the insecticide to the hive. Bad mojo.

spray at dusk or night.also READ THE LABEL dont mix any thing over recomended strength. nice to know there are other KEEPERS on site. cheers thad shirley.
