I going to mix it with water and spray on my patch, how long can i wait til i have to water it in? I'm hoping for a rain in the next 2 days, if not i'll have to do a bunch of hose piping..haha..thanks!

If it's cloudy then waiting a day or two isn't a problem. If the sun is shining I'd get those hoses out.
