I'm having a problem with wilt and leaf discoloration on only one plant. This Wolf 792 was a real fast starter, however, each new leaf had some edge discoloration... now the whole main vine tip has wilted. It was 100 degrees in the hut yesterday but no problems on other plants? Should I pull it? By the way, this is my first post. I've read on here for 3 years and learned tons by just reading others. see photo... bigpumpkins.com/displayphoto.asp?=5025&gid=-38023

I would not pull it, it looks pretty good to me. It appears that it may have some heat damage. Make sure it has plenty of water during those high temp times. To encourage root development, water 3 feet or so outside of the plant area. Try to keep it away from higher temps by opening up the huts or misting until the root system is fully established.

Thanks Joe, you were right. That one hut got hotter than others! I pulled the hut off, watered good, and have almost one foot of new growth in 24 hours, wow. That was close. I was confused by some of the earlier leaf spots and discoloration , I attribute that to some early season (cold ground) nutrient lock-up. Jim R.
