I found a leaf this morning that has a place about a third the size of my hand on it that is black and appears to be burned. A very reputable grower saw the photo and advised it looked like sunburn. I've put a link to the photo below. Anyone else have an opinion?

I have had that same effect when I have applied chemicals in the heat of the day too close to the tip of the growing vine. There have been times when I have spotted svb's and had forgotten when I have last applied Talstar one. So I give them a good dosage in the middle of the afternoon. And the result of this is almost identical to your leaf. I am willing to get a burnt leaf here or there in trade of protections from the bugs. I have also burned a young leaf with a too close infra red light and I will link a pic of that for you as well.

Ed,
Actually on the 1420. No bugs yet but I'm sure they are on the way!
Thanks all you guys for the advise.
