The plant was doing fine and then !!!!!! Any idea what is causing this leaf stress and curl and drying. The main on this plant has slowed growth significantly.

Thanks to anybody and everybody for info.

See my picture of problem in diaries under BIGU...Scituate MA

I sprayed about 5 days ago when I saw evidence of SVB on main. one part orthomax 10 parts water...approx. I sprayed directly at hole in vine where SVB. and all over plant Both of my plants seem to have same problem and both got sprayed. Could this be a soil problem or a leaf disease?

Thanks JRO

There are 256 tablespoons or 128 ounces in a gallon. I usually mix 1-2 tablespoons per gallon depending on what I am spraying. So I guess you probably sprayed roughly 12/13 ounces per gallon, which is way too much. The plant is still alive, so that is good. If it is just chemical burn, you could trim the leaf and call it a day.

Its hard to say if it is a disease, I would guess no. The yellow spots could be a nutrient deficiency.

Perhaps others have some ideas too, I am no pro.

It looks a little like the leaves got fried by heat. But you sprayed so I'm guessing it's chemical burn too. What is this "approximately" stuff? You need to read chemical labels and measure accurately for the safety of not only your plants, but you and the people and animals around you as well.
