What kind of rain would you need to warrant a "re-spray"? If you get a light rain and you can still see some residual, is it likely that you dont need to spray again. Also, assuming a spray went on leaf stalks and vines, which by nature of their location is more protected, I would imagine that they could take a little more rain.

Then the residual obviously is important, as well as the type of action (systemic or contact).

I would imagine that bifenthrin (2-3 week residual) on vines and stalks, could take a bit a rain with very little loss of effectiveness.

Any thoughts on this?

I sit in front of my pc all day, so have lots of time to post on this forum as you can see. Hopefully I am not posting too much.

Well I know anytime I need some rain at the house I just get out my sprayers and there it is..Ive heard most sprays like Pyola or neem oil need to be resprayed after a good down poor. But sprays like Ortho Max and such are fine.

Tremor, I got 1" of rain today, think I should spray bifen again at a lower dose to recover what might have been washed off. I can still see some light white residue from the daconil. The bifen had time to dry.

Thanks

If it dired before the rain then you're fine. No need to respray. Sunlight is the major cause of degradation - not rain.

A good portion of the "white" in fungicides is inert so it should also be OK if it dried before the rain.

Thanks a bunch. I am overprotective of the plants. Kinda like my kids.
