Hey Tremor,

What kind of ability does acephate have as far as translocation goes? Will it move to old growth? Only new growth?

This is a link to the prodcut webpage for labels and such: http://www.ortho.com/index.cfm/event/ProductGuide.product/documentId/72c90bb34e83ab40af12b25b1d77e798

Anyone else using this systemic?

Orthene 75 seems to only be labeled for Peppers nowadays. But I've known growers to use it on Atlantic Giants. Some folks used to swear by it. You can get it into ALL growth stages (that are healthy) by applying it to all foliage parts. The cool thing is that acephate also controls spider mites to a degree so unlike Sevin, won't cause a mite problem later.

JRO, I've used Orthenex for the past couple of years and it is one of the active ingredients. Works great, only needed 3 applications during the entire growing season.

Only issue is that it is not available in Canada.
