I have a row of 12 sunflowers down the edge of my patch. I dont see any fireants, but then I spray for pests. To use this approach, you would have to give it full confidence and allow the ants to live.

I thought it was just funny how he worded it. I live in the fire ant belt and those things hurt too much to have anywhere.
