on one of my plants the edges on some of the leaves are turning white/yellowish and curling under. does anyone know what this is? what should i do?

i don't know for sure but i was told the older leaves do die off.mine did last year they started dieing around the eages first.

and its only one plant
i removed the leaves that were showing the syptoms and buried them i dont know if it is too late or what. there are some cucumber plants growing near bye that are showing some of the same signs kinda
