Does anyone know how long to rotate your patch out of pumpkins to get rid if pythium? Can you ever get it out of the patch by rotation? That might be my problem. I started rotating half the patch to sweetcorn this year and would like to know how long to wait until going back to pumpkins.

Rotation won't work well at all. Provide better drainage, reduce irrigation & consider using a pythium fungicide such as Subdue, Aliette, Banol, etc. Phosphonate fertilizers such as Actiphos work too but they aren't usually labeled for disease control due to the cost of registration.
