Northern Arizona

I removed this plant today as all the leaves down to about a foot from the tip were turning yellow. Did I make a mistake?

I think you made a good choice I wish I could tell you what was wrong with it but it definetly wasnt healthy. It looked diseased and probally would spread to your other plants. I think you did the right thing.

here is the pic. there was 2 plants on this hill and the onther one has no yellow and looks nice and healthy as do the other plants in the patch. Anyone have any ideas on w hat it was?
