Then the idiot American voters will elect Hillary & we'll end up with a commie socialist health care system.

Bush won't look so bad by comparison after a few years of that.

Come one Steve, Hillary will do a great job and she'll be able to count on Bill for tips and tricks of the trade since he's "been there, done that"

I watched one of the debates and sorry I don't remember their names but there were a couple of grey haired old farts that sounded more like war lords than potential presidents of the United States.

Bush will always look bad by comparison to anyone...surprised that many of you still stand by him.

Before the volley starts, yes I know "your just a Canadian, and your opinion means squat"

Most Canadians follow US politics cause it effects us in a big way....how many States in Canada?

If Hillary goes where and does what Bill did, it's gonna be a REAL mess.

I can't forget the shady real estate deals, Monica, the impeachment, etc.

I'm not a Bush fan either, but he was our best alternative at the time.

The Arab and Muslim world does not accept women as "players" in the world of politics and war. And let's face it, we HAVE to deal with them.

And, no offense, but most Canadians are happy in their sheltered world with a military might to the south and no one to the north. I love Canada and the people but, when Reagan ended the cold war, a vacuum was left and America took up the challenge. She does not always make the right decisions or have the best presidential candidates.

And yes, I DO value the opinion of our neighbors to the north. Good people.

Is there really any such thing as a "good" presidential candidate in this day and time? I'm starting to wonder... I guess giantpumpkindude is right, sometimes you just pick the lesser of two evils. Thats really sad!

Mr bush has gotten us into a mess that we will have to pay for for a long long time, in AMERICAN lives and our hard earned money, this would qualify him as a pest, parasite, and a lot of other problems. we have spent how many hundreds of billions there, could have payed for health care for decades, but all that is now is debt, that my kids and grandkids will pay for, and for what? the pnac doctrine

Let's see....No new terrorist attacks, the economy is screaming, we're all living longer, unemployment is at an all time low.

Yep, we're in a real mess alright. LOL

Sure, Social Security & going to bust but that isn't GWB's fault alone.

What specifically is WRONG? Iraq will be occupied by us for years regardless of who is in office so we can get over that now or never but the facts remain.

What is wrong?

I'm of an opinion that Iraq should have been occupied by the U.N. as it had started, NOT by the impatience of a president looking for WMD that did not exist (just as the U.N. reports were stating at that time). It was supposed to be a joint effort to verify or deny the existence of WMD. When someone got impatient and took it into American hands (and lives), just how many WMD devices, production plants were found???? It is just my opinion, but I dont think it was the correct choice. My children will be paying for this decision as well as their children. Not to mention all the people directly involved with our nations Armed Forces and anyone else we drag in to share the load.....

Yup....GW was wrong to invade iraq. I am one of those who were fully behind the invasion up until a few months ago.

But I DO recall Saddam playing games with the U.N(as he always had). I think we were more impatient with the U.N. than anything else.

And yes, our children will once again pay the price....just as we paid the price for our parents' decisions, they paid the price for their parents' decisions, and so on.

But think of this, too: we are not begging the U.N. to bail us out of Iraq nor is the U.N. offering to help.

Yes, but I don't remember the U. N. asking for us to take over that operation during his game playing. I think it was just the opposite. This is a political topic that will have many opinions and many truths coming out a long time from now. I suppose it is easy to second guess decisions from hind sight. Again it was my opinion from the start that a team effort was lost due to impatience. Not much to do with the pumpkins diseases but gets us all talking!!

UN in charge??? That doesn't even deserve a comment.

Whether ousting Saddam was the right thing - we'll never know now that he's gone.

The WMD's are in Syria, etc where they landed while GWB was getting the legal authority to act. For the record, there was bipartisan support of the invasion regardless how we feel about it now.

But none of this speaks to my original question: What is wrong now?

Steve, your original question/comment was:

"Then the idiot American voters will elect Hillary & we'll end up with a commie socialist health care system.

Bush won't look so bad by comparison after a few years of that".

Go Hillary!! Must be better than the other front runner Obama??

Well, lets see. Uh... two years ago I had two brothers and a cousin that were proudly serving in the Armed Forces and were looking forward to spending time with their children, two of which they had not seen. Last year one sister in law and my cousins wife had left the state because they moved back to their parents house to raise the children cause their father's were killed by a suicide bomber that was never seen. This year my other sister in law has just come out of the hospital due to a nervous breakdown because my brother, the only one I had left, was killed by a car bomb. That, to me, is what is wrong now. But as I said before, it is only my opinion and that is what is special about this country. Can you see something could be wrong now?

I doubt Americans will be dumb enough to vote for Hilary or Boombada or whatever his name is. Down here she wont get many votes hopefully. Especially no straight man with an actual set would. Some of yall would love my bumper sticker and it has a picture of her ugly face on it. It says real Americans wouldnt vote for Hilary C#nting. I get some good looks from people. But ya know what Im not Skeeered.

Puter, I'm terribly sorry for your family's loss. Freedom surely isn't free. God Bless you all.

Hillary also voted to put them there but no one holds her accountable for it since she flipped. Only Obama is on the record as opposed.

Hillary will be just like her husband: Govern by opinion poll.

I obviously wasn't specific enough. What is wrong with the current state of the nation that the Democrat front runners would be expected to fix?
