I have idetified this bug in my pumpkin patch, how do I go about eliminating him?

Bluey, apply it in the evening...Also inspect open male blossoms I find they like to go there in the evening. picked three blossoms last night with 8 cuke beetles in them!...Chuck

Yes! I did notice that. I thought they were good bugs that just liked to hang around my plants. I was curious though, so I looked them up, and it turns out they are causing the damage I see.

Liquid seven and melethion 50 plus work great!
I also have them hanging in the open blooms.

That's the problem with cuke beetles. They are great pollinators, but they eat the plant also. I have used sevin, malethion, and isotox alternating weeks. I still have some holes so I don't think I'm getting them all.
