Ok, lots use it for amending the soil, but how many use it as an organic fungicide? I know its good as a powder for cut ends and such, what about as a spray for the plant?

Any particular rates? Mix with water...dry? Controls PM, etc?

Jordan, the label on Later's garden sulphur advises "do not use on cucumbers, melons or similar plants"

It does not say why so I'd be interested in getting some knowledge on that too.

I use the sulphur powder mixed with water to make a paste to use on cracks and splits and it works great in helping to dry and and heal those issues.

i tried mixing up some sulphur powder in water one year, and sprayed it on the plant. it slowed growth down the next three days straight, and never really got back to where it was before.

Jordan I used it as a foliar this summer and it worked but things to watch out for are constantly re shaking the sprayer so it doesn't sit in the bottom and come out super strong in the last little bit of liquid. Also do not overspray and leave droplets on the ends of leaves as this burns them and last but not least wear a mask your throat will thank you.

The sulfur products used for fungicide are different than the granular sulfur used for fertilizer. The spray type is called micro sulfur or "micro fine", In general is a good fungicide but can do crop dammage as previously noted. Also it does not last long and is not very wide spectrum.
Here in Canada, your over the counter fungicide choices are very limited so you may want to consider this.

I have had some experiance with "funginex" which is for roses. It is fairly broad spectrum and is systemic.
