The leaves and stem seem to be dead. Brown and basically, looking dead. The pumpkin is fine. Half orange though. Will it continue to turn orange? Should I cut it? I'm new to pumpkins but it did have white leaves back in August. I thought it was from the woodpeckers above the garden dropping saw dust but now I'm thinking it was pumpkin mold. (???) Any thoughts and/or suggestions would be so greatly appreciated. =)

Sounds like powdery mildew....fruit could hang on for a while...may continue to orange up but might not be a real orange pumpkin....what you see might be what you get.....G
