I also grow Prizewinner pumpkins and other types of pumpkins and squashes. My problem is, about harvest time and even after harvest, I get little green worms that bores into the pumpkins/squash (I spray with insecticides during the growing season). Do you have any insecticides recommendations to prevent these little borers and the frequency of application of the insecticides (I assume the larva/borers are already inside the pumpkins/squash). sounds like PICKLE WORMS to me!? Sevin should keep them at bay.
