My best plant has post-emergence damping off disease. I used Schultz's potting mix and some compost and lost two very good seeds last week. The current plant has 3 leaves. The 1st is damaged, the second leave has yellow-streaks and the third is too small to tell. Two days ago I watered-in Captan. Yesteday, I checked and I found a lesion at soil level. I immediately applied Captan paste to the stem. I drenched some Alliete also. I'm wondering if I should continue with this plant or should I give up? I have big hopes for this plant, it's a 1248 Ford and I'm hoping to make Jim proud.
Any advise would be welcome!
Thanks in advance
Greg

Plant backups. If it survives so be it. If it doesn't you'll have spares.

Thanks Tremor! The plant looks better today. I think the 2nd leaf appears more glossy than a couple of days ago. I wonder if there's root damage? But, backups are in the soil!
