beleive it or not they arrived here in west virginia today caught me off guard havent never seen these pest this early man what a start to the season!

2 years ago they hit the day I set the plants out the first week of May. This year none so far, but my plants were all pulled out by the first of August last year. No overwintering. Spread some garlic powder, it is a good repellant.

Found 'em swarming my 993.5 today. We'll know soon whether it will succumb to bacterial wilt. Other plants were bug-free.

We've gone from cold and wet to hot in a hurry. 85 here today with the 90's approaching by next weekend.
