i just posted some pics of my stump and you will see it is getting little splits and becoming pale. It is firm and dry to the touch. I had damping off last year bad but plant bounced back some how after time. this year i used damping off fungicide a couple a day's ago.

Please let me know what this is and what I should do? thanks in advance

Hey Mr.T...The close up shots does look like damping off. I really can't tell if the spot on the stem is below the cots or past the cots. You may have saved them if it was dampening off the ring would have turned a deeper brown by now...this could be just drying out the infected area..Maybe somebody here has more experience with this.
