Well i practically have lost a plant to some sort of rot or something. last year i thought i lost my plant to svb but what i am seeing this year reminds me of last years problem. The stem apears to turn soft and mushy and then just kinda collapse the leaves. i took some pictures. My vine just died in the center of the vine. So i am curious to what it is. The stump of the vine next to it died from bacterial wilt or some other root fungus infection. It appears to be spreading over to another plant whatever it is. If anyone knows please let me know thanks! view these pictures.

its just plain old bacteria--at its worst not any thing you can do now --get you self on a fungal progam next year and use things that will promote health plants

Fresh samples to a lab....get it diagnosed or you'll forever be in the same spot the next year...The faster you get the samples to the lab the better off you'll be. if it's soil borne you"re doomed to repeat it year after year unless you sterilize the soil and start anew...Good Luck...Chuck

Hmm. that cant be good.. i had a soil sample done last fall on general nutrients and all.would that show the bacteria? or would it be a special type of test. well i would say at the moment my best bet is spraying it with some daconil for a fungicide it from hitting other plants that is. I would figure you would want to remove any infected parts of the plant.
