so far so good.picked 33 eggs out of the garden today Have been with me for about 3 weeks have killed 3 mammas but the eggs are worse than ive seen b4...I have been spraying a coctail of ambush, mialathon plus + sevin mixed with water and spray stems and then leaves then drench...about once a week...will this hold up or should i be doing more...I dont have acess to a licened sprayer for the real chemicals....Ive picked/with daughter(@ 10 cents an egg,,,LOL) about 100-150....just hoping this keeps them at bay . any other suggestions?????????

it helps to keep your vines buried at the leaf nodes. Try Bayer Tree and Shrub (imidacloprid) for the eggs you miss. Greg

I've seen an unusual amount of SVB eggs recently as well. We're spraying about every 7-10 days...Anyone else seeing the same thing?

Found about 15 total on my trap plants (hubbard squash) but none on my AGs. Thats the bifenthrin doing its job. They don't even want to lay eggs.

I live in southern mn.and I have yet to see a svb.I have been using Bayer Complete insect kill soil and turf.I only use on my AG.I sprayed the whole patch early on and have been alternating between Sevin,Ortho max Lawn and garden and the bayer.I have more problems with spider mites than anything else.

I'm seeing an unusual high number of squash bugs and eggs but below average Squash Vine Borers. Are you guys sure that you're seeing SVB eggs or Squash Bug eggs? Either way, not good....

I uploaded some pictures of the eggs I am seeing in my garden. Are these SVB or squash bug eggs?
