Okay so I'm not good at diagnosing my problems...Thought for sure that it was Antracnose of Gummy Stem Blight...Just got hte results back from Rutgers and although the samples I brought them weren't in the best shape due to frost these were identified as the problem and most likely the Fusarium is the primary pathogen..."Rotate away from this site for at least 4 years for any cucurbit crop." of course the remove and destroy affected plant debris...plow under rest....

Ken D. looks like I 'll be going for the zero tolerance this year!!! Yikes!

Sounds like it's time for Basamid.

Basamid? Soil fumigant? Was wondering if the fusaria pathogen is contagious to all vining plants like Tomato..the garden was tomatoes before it became the patch!!! Ken D had good results this year with ZeroTolerance..its expensive but had no trace of fusaria this year and grew WWW.

Still need help here. I want to encapsulate the old patch. It sits uphill from the new one. I got the plastic to cover it but I have been trying to get Ridomil for fumigation and everywhere I go it's never been heard of...I got some computer printouts of it to bring with me. Is there anything else I can use or anywhere on the internet to buy it? Thanks for any help you can give. Chuck
