I recently attended the SOGPG grower's seminar, which featured representatives from both Cleary's and BioWorks.

BioWorks features a product called RootShield in both granular and WP formulations containing the fungal strain T-22, which is effective on common fungal pathogens of AG's and compatible with mycor.

While researching distributors of RootShield, I ran into a product called Actinovate which is also effective on pythium, phytopthera, rhizoctonia, and fusarium, but contains a different strain of fungus. Can anyone tell me if this product is also compatible with mycor?

Sorry for the lengthy post, but I'm taking the lazy man's way out without contacting the manufacturer.

Only works in low pressure settings. Once pathogens dig their heals in, bigger ammo is needed.

It is compatible with mycorrhiza, I have a document that I copied from another site that lists a bunch of updated products and chems that work with Mycorrhiza, I'll try to post today.

Joe, I use the Rootshield Home & Gardeon version which comes in a 4 oz container. I also use the Actinovate and bacillus subtillis which is whats in the Bio Pak and Companion. All are great products to help fight disease.

Are you sure you're not talking about the granules? I priced the WP at $232.00 for just 3 lbs. 40 lbs. of granules was $392.52.

The granules should be used at the same time you bury vines and apply mycor granules at the same rate. A half-rate application of WP should follow 12 weeks afterward in drench form.

o.k did some checking the granules are 140.00 for 10 lbs and the WP is 3 lb for 260.00,my mistake

Using Mustard (Caliente 119 for example) and chopping/incorporating can act as natural disease prevention too.
