Hi, I just set out the plants yesterday. They are still quite young, some only have the two cot leaves but the first true leaves are just starting to sprout. Two other plants are slightly more mature, with about 5 leaves total including the cots. Can all these plants be foliar sprayed with bayer tree and shrub yet, or should I just water in in around the base of the plants for now?

i am of the type thats says better safe than sorry, i would use a light mixture and drench it in. Its not a contact killer anyways its a systemic so roots needs to absorb it and push it up through the plant

We treat with Merit 75WP even before planting out. I would be more cautious with EC's a most fungicides. Use the lowest labeled rates.
