Will merrit kill ants in the patch! everyone is saying to kill them because of one reason or another,just want to make sure they will kill them. should I use it now if so?
And how long does it last?

Not systemically since ants don't feed on the plants but it will last a long time as a contact.

Lasts about 4 weeks as a contact in the ground.

You should apply imidacloprid before planting out then again if the soil is greatly disturbed.

bayer tree and shrub/1.47 imidacloprid.Do any growers have a good measurement of this per one gallon or two gallons of water to drench around the plants. I've been told 1/2 oz. in two gallons of water. I just read a diarey that said 5 oz. in a gallon. Seems like alot. Thanks Jeff B.
