The wind has pretty well broke all of my big leaves on my checkon 815 . What do I do when the wind stops. Only one run cracked the vine.

I'm not sure what you mean by" only one run cracked the vine" but this happened to me last year and I gave my plant a hefty dose of fungicide and kept repeating that untill I could tell which leaves were totally lost and which could be salvaged. Good luck

You should put up some sort of wind break. Check out John D.'s diary to get some ideas. Some people grow corn or sunflowers for wind protection. I have put up some panels made of 2x3's to protect my plants until my corn is tall enough to do the job.
