ive been seeing a leaf problem on both my plants. its starting at the main root and slowly traveling down the main vine killing my leaves. they are starting to look like crumpled up newspaper. i have pictures but dont know how to post them on this site. i usually see this occur towards the end of the season when the plant is fizzling out but never this early, just got fruit set on both plants. could this be from over watering? ive been follows joe hollands fert program to a t and buring all vines. ive never spent so much money and especially time as i have this year and im really disgusted.

I hope it's not the case, but I got the vine borer on some regular pumpkins last year and that is exactly what happened. Is there a yellow/green frass or saw dust looking material up on the vine especiall where it is already the worst?

havent seen any saw dust looking material but then again my vines are burried. could over-watering be causing this? ive been watering 4 times a day 20mins each time on a timer. i also been applying sevin and fungicide once a week. i posted a couple pics in my diary if they ever come up. thanks

I have heard over watering can wilt leaves as well, but you'd probably have to have a lot of clay in your soil. Hopefully someone with better expertise can help. I'll check the diary for pics too.
