For the past couple of weeks something has been attacking the leaves on my beetroots. At first I thought it was earwigs but tonight I held one of the leaves up to the light and there were maggot like things visible in the veins of the leaves. I tore one open and sure enough there was a maggot. Many leaves have these and I applied a dose of sevin at 9:00pm. Any ideas what this is, the beetroots have been doing great up until now.

Thanks Glenn, will the sevin kill them?
