3 plants in and around mine (my peers) are developing this yellowing of the leaf edges. What could it be and could it spread to my plant?

How old are the plants? Is most of this around the base and/or down the center of the plant? Kind of looks like natural aging of older leaves.

Could be from over watering, is the soil really wet?
Dig down about 6 inches, grab a handful of dirt, squeeze it into a ball. I shouldn't feel slippery or slimy, should make a ball, but you should be able to crumble it back apart between your fingers. If it doesn't crumble it is to wet.
