Past 10 or so years have had disease problems in our garden. Mostly among the vine plants (squash, pumpkins, cumbers, ect)

Would it be a good idea to quit planting vine plants for a couple years or just even let the whole garden go fallow for awhile?

Waste of time or worth trying?
