my pumpkins about the size of basketballs and they all went rotten last year. any advise??

Hi Normie, If your pumpkins began to rot by the blossom end, add Calcium: gypsum and Calcium Nitrate to the soil, soluble calcium as fertirrigation to the leaves and fruit since the fruit is set. If they began to rot from the middle or from the stem end, your soil should be desinfected and your pumpkins defend from getting wet.

Hey Normie, Can you post any Pictures of the problem? They're are many soil borne pathogen that can cause the problem you described. and any number of insect problems to the vine...was the vine still growing well? will send you some links to look at to see if you can identify the problem good luck this year and Grow em Big!
