Has anyone ever used this insecticide?? Its organic and can spray up to harvest. It can be used on pumpkins, squash, Tomatoes, etc. According to Johnny's Seed they say it kills Squash vine bore which would be great help to go along with traps.
Any input would be great.

There is also 2 different strengths.

I have used PyGanic and I can say that it does work but has limitations. It is not as stable when applied to plants so it has to be applied more often than some of the other insecticides. It will kill a SVB if it comes into contact with it and the active ingredient is still active but I would not count on it. It does work for Cuke beetles and considering it is OMRI approved it does work quite well compared to the other products that are in this category that I have seen.

The two different concentrations are basically ‘home owner’ and ‘farm grade’. The dilution rates result in the same concentration of the applied active ingredient so it does not matter which one you get. The lower % is probably better since you are probably not treating a large area.

The traps are still your best bet for the SVB set them up early and monitor them daily and it will give you useful information.

Not to brag but I was one of the first to start using the traps and I recommended them because I saw their effectiveness and I have not heard anyone that has used them complain about all the dead SVB they have caught.
