Has anyone ever had any problems with rabbits eating their pumpkins? I saw a big one sniffin around my patch this morning, and am wondering if I should be worried.

To the dismay of some I see myself as the only person that can stop that sucker becoming fifty or more by seasons end.
I shoot them and burry them at least ten inches deep. Rabbit stew was never my thing although we do one dinner a year at the hunting cabin featuring everybody rabbit dish.
....Some years we have birds of prey that take care of business nicely. No bird hunters this year as of this hour.
