Posted this in the AACT forum as well. Does anyone know the effects on mycorrhizae from Potassium Bicarbonate?? I have searched google tirelessly and nothing specific to this question comes up. I have read the .pdf at the extreme pumpkin store and did not see either "potassium bicarbonate", "milstop", or "greencure" listed in there.
* funny that "mycorrhizae" is not in the spellcheck's dictionary :)

to be clear: I wondering how much, if any, harm is done to my soil food web- aka.-the beneficials from AACT and Mycorrhizal applications- when I foliar spray Potassium Bicarbonate for PM protection.

Have you searched for a more general topic such as, 'Foliar feeding affect on microorganisms'? When fungicides drip off and enter the top of the soil they probably affect the surface soil. Then, maybe less is better, so that most of the spray stays on the plant. Have you considered using a spreader-sticker ????

BTW, potassium bicarbonate is a very mild fungicide compared with others.

Potassium Bicarbonate sprays are applied as a foliar application, this shouldn't harm Mycorrhiza in the soil as long as you don't spray it until it runs off into a puddle. I will contact the good folks at GreenCure and Bioworks, these folks are always willing to help and very forthcoming with info.
